This beautiful melody from the musical West Side Story is here given a sympathetic treatment evoking the yearning and love expressed in the song.

The Musical/film Guys and Dolls produced some wonderful songs, one of the very best is Sit Down You’re Rockin’ the Boat. The variety in the music is a great vehicle for the band, individual soloists feature in the verses and the full band in the rhythmic choruses and big finale.

Complete with introduction, (originally sung by a male quartet, but here played by two horns and two trombones), this version of the happy energetic song provides scope for all sections of the band including a slow close-harmony portion featuring the brass.

This new take on a well known traditional song bustles along in a variety of different guises, the whole band being used in various styles and instrumental timbres including an ad-lib trumpet solo. An ideal concert piece.

This is an expanded version of the Band piece catalogue No 26. A descriptive piece based on the traditional tune ‘London Bridge Is Falling Down’ featuring the turmoil in the river as the bridge falls and he calm once all has settled down. A pot-pourri of melodies based on the original tune, tricky in places.

An original composition featuring 2 solo F Horns and wind band. A lively and challenging duet in ABA formation but we’ll within the reach of players of a reasonable standard.

Originally titled, ‘Ue o Muite Aruko’ this Japanese song became a worldwide favourite in the 1960s under its English title ‘Sukiyaki’ and is still remembered by many people today. This rhythmic arrangement for full band should get your audience tapping their feet and clapping along.
